Childs Growth Chart - Supersized Ruler

Child Growth Chart.

I wanted to make my own super sized growth chart for my Son, I got some inspiration from "Pintrest" and got my partner to make me this super sized ruler to be used as a growth chart.

We cut and stained a large plank of wood that we managed to scavenge.
Then used a black marker pen to mark the scales.
Then we used sticky Numbers to add the measurements.

I hope you agree this looks very unique. I son Loves it.

White Bird Cage

David bought me this white bird cage as birthday present a number of years ago. It had been sitting in the spare bedroom for a while as there was nowhere better suited. However when updating the lounge this season i found a nice location for it on top of our new farmhouse drawers. I think this item gives provides an interesting object in the room, and our son also like to place some of his smaller toys inside..
